Ordered chicken platter. Very small amount of chicken. Microwaved white rice no option of brown. Had to ask for garlic. No potatoes. Small portions. Cash only.
Go as last resort only. Went to try their chicken plate. What I got a small portion of overcooked rice, iceberg lettuce, a few pieces of chicken and the usual mix of onions, turnips and hot peppers. I wasn’t impressed either when the guy arranged the food on the plate with his bare fingers (yuk). Avoid if you can – there are lots of other decent Shawarma places in the area.
The worst Shawarma restaurant !. The service is to improve, we must repeat to the guy many times about what we would like to have. Everything wasn’t fresh, he warm up everything in the microwave. The chicken was dry, the potato was cold without any taste. the rice was the worst rice i have ever eat in my life. and after all of that, the guy was very miser, just some potatoes and some chicken and a lot of lettuce, absolutely unacceptable. Plz go somewhere else, you deserve much better !!!
Best sandwich in Ottawa. I’ve been going here for over 10 years because their chicken shawarma sandwich is the best I’ve tried in Ottawa (and I’ve tried many). There’s just something about the garlic sauce and the way they heat up the sandwich. Also, they haven’t increased the price very much (if at all) since I can remember.
Worst Shawarma ever. This is the worst shawarma in town…ok probably not, but it sure is close. Absolute garbage, good deals and it is close to the bars, so they get the service of the drunks, but in terms of actual quality, this place has none. So many better options in the market area, go elsewhere.
I asked for extra turnip, guy refuses to give pickles as well. He says extra turnip = pickles. I am paying you for food, just put what I want on it. Did not like his attitude and the shawarma was worse because there were no pickles. Go elsewhere for shawarmas
Great prices, average everything else. I had a chicken shawarma which was good but not out-of-this world. My pita bread turned out a little crispier than I usually like it to be for a shawarma, but everything else was right. The food is generally very inexpensive so it’s a great place to grab a bite if you’re hungry. Although the place itself is a lot more comfortably spaced out than shawarma places tend to be, you’d probably want to take out your food because it’s a bit dodgy.
