AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Management does not know how to look after clients. We were treated very poorly by ownership. The food was decent but you will not receive the experience you are paying for.
I am on the fence with Steak & Sushi. While the food was excellent and fresh, I was surprised the see that the place lacked cleanliness. The table was dirty, glasses didn’t seem too clean and my friend had to ask for another appetizer plate since hers had a piece of food dried onto it. The sauce-stained menu was confusing and our server seemed a bit rude. If it weren’t for the above mentioned issues, I would have gladly given Steak & Sushi 5* but there is definitely room for improvement.
I love the steak tartare and the apps. Wine choices are great. The salads are tasty and unique. Plating is visually appealing. Service is warm, friendly and non intrusive. I definitely recommend!
We chose Steak & Sushi for our sales team holiday dinner and chose the 5 course meal with wine pairing. From the minute we sat down at a fabulous table by the window, we were blown away by the warm welcome, and our charismatic server.Every course was creatively served and quite generous. Sushi, Tandoori shrimp, Chicken, Steak and amazing Asian pound cake. Each course came with a delicious wine and we capped off the meal with champagne. Rumouron the street is that Steak & Sushi boasts the best bartender in Ottawa so we asked Isaac to blow us awayblow us away he did! Check out the crazy smoky drinkWhat we loved about Steak was the loungy /Manhattan ambiance and the chill servers.
Wonderful birthday night. Had the fantastic 2 steaks plus a bottle of Niagara wine for $50. How could 2 friends not enjoy themselves? Oh yes, and the food was fantastic. At that price, one never knows. No worries. Eat, drink and be very happy at STEAK.Plus look how the staff went above and beyond tonight. Wonderful!
Awful experience. Overprice. Our server was arrogant and doing an attitude (I think her name was Taylor ???). Worst experience ever. So many better restaurants by the market…
