  Very nice vegetarian food as am vegetarian . Guess nonveg would be also good. Awesome service nice environment. A must visit place if looking for Indian cuisine.

  I have been here several times since they opened about one year ago. I have allergies to gluten and lactose, but, Colaba has been able accommodate my needs and guided me to items on their menu that were safe for me. My kids love the food here too including their vegetarian dishes.I have been to several restaurants in the GTA that one might classify in similar ethnic category, however, Colaba stands apart by way of delivering consistently high quality ethnic and fusion dishes. Unlike most of their competition, Colaba prepares each dish to order (no hot tables here). This may take some extra time to prepare, but, the result is well worth it. In addition to an eclectic menu, very noticeable are the fresh herbs that are incorporated into the dishes, creating an enjoyable vibrant taste and aroma with lively texture. Colaba’s dishes are less oily than their counterparts, so for me, the dishes are lighter, brighter, more interesting and easier to digest.This cozy family run restaurant is easily accessible at the outside central plaza north of Vaughn Mills mall, just south of Rutherford. The family and staff are caring, genuine and are a welcome option for those of us that prefer delicious, freshly prepared foods.

I should have never paid for the food to begin with. Shame on you.10 Feb, 2015DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$$$. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$$!!!!This ranks among the worst Indian restaurants I have been. Classic example of owners trying to get away with something. There is nothing FINE about this dining. The prices they are charging amounts to robbery for the food they served. Here are the reason….1. Food served cold2. NO FLAVOR!!!3. Coriander garnesh was rotten.4. Lamb was rank and perhaps the worst cut ever!5 Ocra was rotting on the inside.6. The chicken sizzler plate was far from sizzling…in fact it was cold.7 Service was the worst ever. Waiter/Waitress was doubling as cook, server, bus, etc.8. Salad was lettuce going bad with onion and couple of drops of store bought dressing.9. No one ever came to see if we needed anything, clear the table, provide desert options.10. There was rarely any one in the dining room and front desk….customers came and left because no was there to greet and seat them….because the host was also the cook.After the meal (if it can be called a meal) i quietly advise the owner that he needs to make a lot of improvements as the food was horrible. He was more interested in taking my payment and hurrying me along. SHAME SHAME SHAME. These people have not business owning a restaurant. A hot dog stand has better food and service than the knuckleheads who took me for more than $100 for crap. It is rare that I get upset at these situations to the point of writing a review like this but I feel robbed.DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$.
