Friendly neighborhood Italian gem. Love the pastas, amazing staff, and definitely a top of for my fault and friends. Carmen(owner), I suggest you look into something to soften the noise a bit within the dining room to make it more intimate and guests but that’s really a minor complaint.
Maple’s Gem Went to Farro f…. Maple’s GemWent to Farro for the first time this evening to celebrate a birthday and everything from the welcome to the service and the food was beyond wonderful. The staff was friendly (and funny), very polite and helpful. The food was exceptional and the service was fast. Will definitely be going back! Highly recommend Farro if you want really good Italian food that tastes as good as homemade.
We came, we ate, we will not return. Food Taste was mediocre, bread was not that fresh, and the bill was slightly overcharged. I found the waiter to be overly sarcastic. Service was ok however the place was mostly empty during the weeknight visit. Menu selection seemed plentiful but pasta dish totaly lacked flavor. The atmosphere could be seen as half family and half dinner for two.
My family and I love this restaurant. We have been going for years, the food is absolutely consistently delicious. The only thing better may be the service. Very attentive staff, we love our server Jesus, owner always remembers us too. The good is well presented and perfectly cooked. Out favorites are the seabass special, pizzas and penne a la vodka for my girls. Truly the best Italian restaurant in this area. My husband and I recently went there for our 15 year wedding anniversary and we were treated to a wonderful evening.
Great night. Read some reviews, good and bad, decided to give Farro a try. Great time. We were a party of 8 celebrating my daughters 16th birthday. Reservations for 7:00, we arrived 7:02. The hostess seated us within 3 minutes. Place was half empty but within 20 minutes it got full. Our waiter Sean was wonderful. Came around and filled our water, asked us our drink order, then later took our dinner order all within 15 minutes. 20 minutes later our food came, plentiful and delicious Refilled our bread and water as needed. After dinner, Sean came by with a slice if cake for our daughter (no charge) and sang happy birthday to her. We had 4 more deserts and coffee, Bill came, we asked to split two ways, no problem. My family of five was $125, three pasta dishes and two pizza dishes, 4 non alcoholic drinks and a glass of wine, two deserts and a coffe. Gave Sean a $25 tip. Total $150 for my family of five nice place, decor, ambiance, food and service. Had a great time Highly recommend Farro Ristorante hope you get Sean as your waiter. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place !!. I have lived in Vaughan for almost 10 years now and have had a multitude of opportunities to try the restaurants in the area. Farro is by far the best spot for authentic Italian food, a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere, and amazing service. Lots of menu options and definitely not over priced. I also had my confirmation lunch there a few years back and Farro was able to impress myself, my very picky step father, all the members of my large blended family, and my closest friends. It is the perfect option for so many occasions as it is posh enough for date night and relaxed enough for a calm family dinner. Staff treats you like family and I cannot say enough about the food! I have been a patron at farro ever since they opened and have not been disappointed once.Enjoy!!!!!!!
