  First, I found the staff to be VERY friendly and attentive. Could not have asked for better service. Second, the Apple & Radicchio salad was amazing – a delight. The main dishes were disappointing, though. The Mediterraneo with Eggplant pizza was dry, tasteless crust and not much flavour overall (and I truly eat almost anything). My friend’s Mushroom Risotto was flavourful, although she had to add salt and it was VERY mushy. Probably worth a try – I’m sure there are other items that are tasty.

  By far the worst service and food I’ve eaten for awhile. went for my birthday last night. I found the appetizers were ok not special. got burrata/tomato which was 3 slices of tomatoes and 2 slices of cheese (not worth the money we paid portion was horrible) calamari fritti just rubbery and small rings, the mussels where ok but the sauce was over powered by the white wine. left a horrible taste in my mouth all night. then ordered pasta with ragu fettuccini alfredo and pizza. the pizza had no flavor at all. the peene with ragu wasn’t amazing but it was edible as we were hungry and the fettuccini was just butter. horrible horrible. we sad at a table were we kept hearing the microwave bening used so I’m thinking a lot of stuff isn’t made fresh. the food didn’t taste fresh at all. I observed around and a few tables were complaining about the food. even salad. how does someone screw up prepping salad! the reviews online arent’ true at all. we tried the local restaurant when it opened many many years ago and didn’t go back since. we tried it again after many years and will never go back. the owenre never once came to use to ask if there was a problem. he saw that some dishes where eaten and 1 untouched. however they did remove the dish from the bill when i mentioned that it wasn’t good. i didn’t ask to remove it from the bill. i was going to pay for it anyways. Not sure if people don’t know what there eating or what good food tastes like. I WOULD RECOMMEND 255 ALTA ROSSA food is fantastic and cheaper and service is better. you can’t go wrong. with 255 ALTA ROSSA.
