Easter burnch at Lago. Hummmm….$55 adult,$23 child mandatory 17% grat and they charged for soft dri ks! Really!!!!We were happy to try it BUT Copper creek is much better and you get way more selection at better quality for less…they don’t charge for soft drinks either!The food was ok, the roast was cold and so was most if not all the fish and seafood dishes. The variety was not bad but if you’ve been to Copper Creek you know that this is not up to par. Food quality was also below the standard that we expected. Alot of inexpensive starchy options and not enough higher quality cuts of protien. We expected much more, roasted beef and lamb is fine but where were the steaks, shanks, ribs, cutlets, stews, grilled cuts (not sausage) muscles in different sauces, pasta bar made to order, risottos ect…. quality food and those that required more care in preperation were missing. We found that many of the foods seemed to be prepared too far in advance as the freshness just didn’t seem to be there. ICE cold salads and seafood, and hard tops on cupcakes.I now know why Copper Creek was sold out. If you don’t have a favorite brunch spot you will enjoy it here despite the harsh tone of this review…..but if you want the best (despite what the person who took our reservation said) this is not it.Having said that, the staff were wonderful. They were very attentive and far more organized and social than Copper Creek.
