The BEST place to waste your money for a very bad quality food and customer service. A second time visit after my first one back in 2011. Back then, both 2 pieces of Chapli kabas were not of the same size, not well cooked and on top, naan was small in size compared to similar kaba places like Bamiyan and Naan & Kabob.Yesterday, along with my family, I gave it a try again i.e June 3 2017; 08:40 PM. THE Worst experience.Firstly, the attendant was unattentive.Secondly, the food was ready around 09:12 PM. We were not informed of their closing time at 09:30 PM, as she packed our eatables and I was surprised.Thridly, I paid for my 3 pops and when asked for my drinks, I was attempted to be charged again. I reminded and presented my receipt.Fourthly, I told her of my disappointment. The attendant did not apologize, adding frustration to my situation, why did I go that place.Fifth, the owner was aware of everything but she pretended as if she didn’t see anything.Sixth, tandoori chicken pieces had a bad aroma while eating and kabobs were without salt.Seventh, I asked for their tiny little sauce. Attendant took 3 seconds to respond asked how many. Awsome !Eight, we’ve an upset stomach now, sitting at home and repenting, cursing at myself, why did I take my family to this place. Please make a wise decision when visiting restaurants. Avoid any rookie eat-out places. Your money is a hard earning and do not want to flush it off for unvaluable items.
I just love this place. Been there three times so far. Today everything was just yummy for my Hubby’s birthday. We were 25 members of the family and each one simply loved the dishes. Chapli Kebab, chicken botis & kebabs were excellent! Though today I tried fish for the first time and from now onwards I know I will always order it too. So tasty! One of my discerning relatives (my Only Sister in law) remarked that the food was better than Bamiyan’s (the best Arabic restaurant in Toronto but I think that is a league on its own! Though I did go along with this remark today ! This is because the restaurant is very spacious and for my large clan, it’s perfect!) On top, the bill came to $250 with takeaways for three families. ($10 per person. Amazing!) Do try the restaurant once and you will get hooked forever! All the best!
Was driving by Vaughan for a parts delivery seen a big restaurant in the subway plaza. Went inside was intimated by the look of the restaurant looked at the prices and seen wasn’t pricey at all. Surprisingly was flavourful had no regrets. Whenever I go near wonderland will definitely come back.
Lovely. I love this place, i have also tried the bamiyan but i would say sultan kabob is the best place to have afghani food.Marinated meat is really good and well cooked comes rice and naan. Naans are really good and fresh Whenever i want to eat desi food i always go there,
Flavourful meat. I’m a total carnivore and the marinade of their meats is mouth watering. I go once a week and try something different. Portions are filling for the price. A good place to go if you like flavourful meals, and definitely if you are hungry! Clean and good food.
First off we went there looking for Katerina’s greek village grill…to our surprise they had sold it :(… We were really looking forward to the freshness of our fave dishes and our usual great talk with Katerina the owner/waitress. Ok so it was late and we decided to try Sultans Kabob. First of all it took over a few minutes for someone to come to counter (no more sit down service , more fast food). And when they did it wasn’t the most pleasant service and the restaurant was empty! U would think the lady had more time to be extra nice or pleasant given we were the only people there and we had no idea what to order since we’ve never tried this type of cuisine before. We went with chicken… Rice some kind of salad and sauce etc etc. it was just ok. Cheap but not what we were use to from previous owners. All I can say is good luck to these people. We won’t be back!
