Poor Service and worse food!It’s pretty hard to mess up a Caesar salad, but they did in spades. Despite the menu saying it had bacon and cheese, neither was evident. What I received was a small, watery mess that was bland and tasteless.Worse that the food was the service. Sat at the bar and the bartender pretty much made herself invisible and when we did complain, did absolutely nothing about it. She was cold and had the personality of a boiled potato.I was also horrified to see children running around in there. They have off-track betting and advertise 19 years and older only – I’m pretty sure that is the law in Ontario.
There really isn’t a better place to sit and watch Chicago Blackhawks beat Tampa Bay in the first game of the Stanley Cup Finals!!! I devoured nachos filled with exxxxtra fromage (cheese). The waitress serving us was great! Food is more than solid, but the atmosphere is what i’ll come back for… and the waitresses 😉 Nothing better than being surrounded by food, woman and 100’s of Tv’s
My friend had a special coupon here for half price on all food items. We decided to have the UFC gang meet up here for the main event bouts. This place is huge and the hostess sat us right in front of the monster screen. There was the playoff hockey and basketball games shown on the other screens. This is a sports fan haven. I ordered the half rack ribs with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. It was pretty good for a sports bar. The only complaint was they ran out of Guinness! I had to settle for a Stella 🙂
I have been to Wegz numerous of time over the years.I do enjoy watching a game here since there are so many TVs and showing multiple sport games. Great atmosphere!I do enjoy having a pint here since I love their Brew-Tender to share with my friends. Sadly, their beer selections is getting worse over the years.I do enjoy having a snack here since it is more fun to eat some appetizers (wings and fries) to go with the drink. I found most of the food so so but it is a sport bar not a gastropub after all.I would still be back for more beers and to watch a game or two.
Best server. Just wanted to write this review to say Wegz is average . The only thing that I loved there is my server Laura. She was so awesome and I hope to have her again if I go back
Horrible Service.. I guess this is a sports bar so I shouldn’t have expected too much from it, however I did expect at least decent service. My partner and I decided to try this place out for lunch after a few hours of shopping so we had built up an appetite, the hostess was great and seated us at a great table but unfortunately everything went downhill from there. It took the waitress after we were seated about 10 minutes to come see us, and after taking our drink order we did not see her until she came to give us our bill. We ordered 2 ceasars and it took 20 minutes to come out, and when the gentlemen gave it to us we ended up giving him our order because our waitress was no where to be seen. My partner ordered the breaded pickles as an appy and also the chicken club house. Well our appy came out as fast as the chicken club house which was about 5 minutes after we ordered it. In theory as hungry as we were the fast food would have been great except that chicken takes longer then 5 minutes to cook so therefore we are sure it had been cooked way before and just waiting for someone to order it. Oh and the person bringing it out was a different person then the last 2 people we have seen. Long story short we had no idea who our actual waitress was since we were helped poorly by 3 different people. Seriously tho, how do you see your waitress once the whole meal and she still expects you to tip her. We definitely were not impressed and will not be going back any time soon.
Worst service. The girls name was Laura. Worst service I have ever received. I will never return.
