Decided to go to Wegz with some friends on a Saturday night…big mistake. I’m writing this review so people don’t waste there time going to a place like Wegz. First off the place was packed which is a good thing, but it’s also understaffed, so wait times are long for a table and food. Food is overpriced and the menu doesn’t display prices of items upfront, we paid $25 for a plate of nachos that were cold and tasted terrible. Basically go to other bars, and I’m sure you’ll have a better time then we did.
This sports bar is a great size, waitress and servers were very friendly, food was decent however I did not have the experience I wished for. We were seated immediately upon arrival, shortly after ordered drinks & nachos. It was a baseball night so it got quite packed. I completely understand service will be quite slower but it took 1 hour and 45 min to get our order of wings. Upon receiving our order we were seated right in front of two basketball arcade styled games. Of course a group had to go play a game right that very moment where we were about to eat. One of the basketballs flew over to our table knocking over our drinks & food. Quite ridiculous. They had no courtesy in apologizing or helping clean up. Instead they continued with their game. The waitresses did help clean up & moved our table over. Layout really needs to be thought out. There should be an area where arcade games are segregated. It just really ruined the evening.You won’t catch me here again.
