The food was average. Had halibut and chips. The service was what I wanted to talk about. The lady was quite friendly but the very fake kind. When she answered you questions she would be rude and then back to being bubbly and nice the next minute. Then the chef, which was the owner was extremely rude. There was a teenager who came into the restaurant to use the washroom first before buying food. The chef then yelled at him for using his washroom without first buying food nor telling him first. He made it so that the whole restaurant could hear him yelling at this teenager. The teenager was apologetic and explained he was indeed buying food. I felt that the people of his restaurant are somewhat racist and unprofessional. Even though it’s not quite right for the teenager to use the washroom without first letting the people of the restaurant know, they shouldn’t have embarrassed him. It’s a restaurant in public with no nearby public washrooms. Will not go again. People of this restaurant are not very nice.
A casual joint with friendly service and hearty portions. Excellent fish and chips! I had the wild-caught Alaskan halibut, hand cut in-house. The fish was lightly battered and not oily, and I really liked the homestyle tartar sauce – making for a tasty meal. A nice compliment to the fish is the Greek salad.
This is by far the best fish and chips in the GTA, we’ll worth the drive and the the menu is plentiful, but really just go with the Halibut
Nice & attentive waitress/staff. Food came right away, ordered the halibut& fries plate. fish was fresh, breading was not crunchy, fries was newly cooked& not oily. All in all just okay.
Decent Fish n Chips. Loved the Greek Salad. Burgers weren’t bad. I’ve come here a couple of times for Fish n Chips. A little expensive though, but still good food.
GREAT FISH AND CHIPS. Always great for take out..prices are reasonable.
Pricey but good fish and great coleslaw.
