Visiting from Montreal, I was unable to eat at Federicks because they were closed. So I decide to try this place. That was a very big mistake. The food had flavour but it was bitter.Will not be going there again.
Its our Once a week visit place and we eat only PANEER CHIILI- EXTRA SPICY !!!!!!!Its our one and only favorite place in Toronto to eat Chinese and specifically Paneer Chilli !!! It reminds us of Indian Chinese taste which we use to enjoy back home. Indeed this place is Home away from Home for Chinese !We have been taking all our friends/relatives paying us a visit in Toronto from States and every person has truly enjoyed it and even their feedback is – FOOD is AMAZINGGGG !!!!I highly recommend this place for all our DESI FOOD lovers – a MUST GO PLACE it is !!!
The food is fine. The service is anything but….The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I requested additional hot sauce and was denied. They finally provided the extra sauce only because I wouldn’t relent and repeated that I would pay for it. It isn’t that hard to be pleasant and helpful. I live around the corner, but haven’t visited this place for nearly a year due to the poor service. It has not improved.
This is our go to dinner take out place when we’re too lazy to cook. We call ahead and 10-15 min later pick the food. The food is your basic Chinese fare, but made to order from fresh ingredients (fresh vegetables vs the frozen rubbery veggies). $25 worth of food keeps a family of 2 adults fed for a dinner and a lunch for each the next day. Good value for your buck!
Happened to be in the area so tried Hakka Wok for lunch. I wasn’t blown away but the food is pretty good. Your standard Chinese fair. It also did offer Thai and Indian style dishes. The spring rolls, wonton and crab corn soup are very good.
Not bad. I had a spicey chicken dish was surprisingly good even came with a bowl of rice. I tried sweet chili chicken was so so.
