I found this place a bit overated. Went there for my birthday. They have limited kinds of dishes. Food werent that special. Service was okay. Too expensive I think
I cannot comment on the food, because we were not seated. We came on a Sunday at 11:45. We did not make reservations ( I know it does say reservations are recommended), but we thought we would take a chance and get there just as they opened. The place was empty, but we were told that they were fully booked for 11:30 and 12:00 time-slots. Since the place was empty, I pointed that out and asked how long do they wait if their 11:3o reservations do not show up. Was told – 15 mins. Great I said so you should be able to sit us, as it is now 11:45 and obviously no one is here. I was told no they cannot seat us because they now will call all of the people who have not shown up to see if they are coming. Well this is a first for me, they call and if they are coming not at 11:30 but lets say at 12:45 they will continue to hold their table. I have not ever heard of anything like that. Instead of seating the customer in-front of them they will keep the table empty for who knows how long to honor a reservation that obviously might not show up or show up late.I wanted to try this place but not now. There are enough great restaurants in the city – I do not have to come back to this one.
The food here is the bomb. The INSP burger is delish along with chicken & waffles. A must go for sure if your in the areaThey also have a separate brunch menu to check out.
Went for brunch, best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Others at my table had death by waffle and the pulled pork and chicken toppings were very tasty.
Had lunch and brunch here. Lunch I had the chicken sandwich with fries. This sandwich is pretty good, the sauce is well made and bread is good texture. Brunch had the burrito, pulled pork fries, and eggs benny. The burrito is a must try. Pulled pork fries also very tasty. One of my favorites north of Steeles. Recommended for brunch.RM
Went here because of a recommendation. Bad news first, the service was ridiculously slow. The restaurant was pretty empty too so I didnt understand why. Second, the portions are ridiculously small, which is by the way my biggest pet peeve at nice restaurants. Now on to the positives, the taste of the food the Sesame Crusted Salmon I ordered was outrageously tasty. The salmon was beautifully fresh with juices flowing when you take a fork to it. The sesame was toasted and gave a wonderful nutty flavour that paired well with the seasonal veggies that accompanied the whole dish. I wish I had more time to spend at this place because they have an interesting Green Tea Chili Cheesecake dessert that I want to try.
