Might try again. Sitting area is pleasant and service and staff are friendly. I went at am odd time around 5 so I think they were out of food. I had ordered the karahi and palak paneer. They said the palak paneer was not ready and said I can take the paneer karahi. I agreed. The food was served in beautiful cutlery, karahi was nice like with home flavor. The karahi with paneer though seemed they took gravy from shashlik chicken and put the cheese in it at the spur of the moment. I would have preferred them being honest. Portion was small, naan was awesome.overall not a bad experience. I would go again just at a meal time
Loved it!. First thing that strikes you as you walk in is the modern decor. Everything feels new and shiny and clean, something that’s not very common with South Asian restaurants. The food itself is great too and a bargain for the amount you get. The naan is amazing as well. Wish this place was in Ottawa, I’d go every week.
Me and my wife just ate here today for the first time. We ordered tikka tandoori, tikka boti, Butter Chicken and seekh kabob. Every meal comes with rice, salad, mint sauce and meat. In my opinion the tikka tandoori and tikka boti were both lacking in flavour, we’ve had much better elsewhere. The seekh kabob on the other hand was delicious and well seasoned. The rice that comes with the meal is actually quite spicy, so be careful! The salad that is also included does not have dressing unless you count mint sauce as a dressing lol and finally the Butter Chicken, It definitely wasn’t my cup of tea and I’m a sucker for a good butter chicken. In my opinion it’s just way too tomatoey and doesn’t have enough flavour. Saying that, the prices are pretty great and you get quite a bit of food but I would have to rate this place a 6.5/10.
Great Tandoori Fish. I dined at this restaurant after shopping at Costco across the street. I was pleasantly surprised by the (1) delicious, perfectly grilled tandoori fish, (2) cleanliness, (3) design and overall aesthetics, (4) good prices, and (5) young owner. In terms of Pakistani restaurants in the GTA, this is as good as it gets.
Pretty Good Surprse. I’m from out of town. Decided to try this place on my visit to Canada with some friends. Pleasantly surprised by their Chicken Kebob Wrap. Definitely had the spicy kick that I look for in food. Clean joint. Decent prices. Definitely recommend this for families or anyone looking to get some good paki/indian food.
Tasty. I haven’t had butter chicken in months, so this place was really good. The lamb was even better. Really tasty and delicious, it is authentic as seen by its customers, can’t wait to go back
