Will not be going back due to poor service. Ordered water and was giving bottles (without being asked if we’d prefer bottled or tap). When we said we’d like tap in a glass, we were told they only serve tap water to guests who will not be ordering other beverages (we were considering ordering beer). Very strange. After a couple other mishaps in service it was time to pay. Our bill came in a visa bill presenter. I put my Visa in it and started to get prepared to leave. A staff member came and stated in a rude manner that they accept cash only, hence their sign outside (we didn’t see the small handwritten sign amongst all the other bar signage). We had to use the restaurants own 3rd party ATM which had a $2 charge. I also saw the owner almost chase a couple through the door after he thought they didn’t pay, and only stopped after a staff member shouted out that he had already collected their money.Other mishaps took place, but to summarize our experience, we felt like we were being nickle and dimed and treated rudely.
Bad Service. Was with a party of friends. Had horrible service. Food took forever to get out and the manager said that he wasnt making enough money off people ordering just burgers and wings. Despite the horrible service, the food was decent. I will never return because of the attitude from management.
My favourite burger in the GTA. Huge portion, burger is insanely juicy and flavourful and the atmosphere is small but modern. Owner and waitress are very friendly. The food and service consistently leaves me with good vibes.
Tiny little bar sitting in the Main Street of Markham, but you will find the most comfort food you wanted. Ordered the Liberty burger with Onion rings plus Stella Artois. Having the food in a patio plus sunny summer weather is extremely satisfy. If anyone wants to get a beer and likes it quite, this is the place to be.
Amazing food, but rude owner.. If you want great pub food defiantly go here.
