We were pleasantly surprised to find this place. We decided to try it because Congee Queen had a 1 hour line at lunch during the weekend. Oshio has a good selection of affordable lunch bentos and portions. The quality of sashimi was very good. We were very happy with the cooked food too (tempura, teriyaki, fried dumplings). The staff were very quick, kind and polite.
Amazing. Extremely friendly and polite stuff. great food and a huge menu!
Oshio. I recently had a dinner with my friendsand the restaurant is all ready for holiday! It was a warm and cozy atmosphere. I would definitelyrecommended for any night out with bf or family. They recently got new special maki just ask any server. The service is fantastic especially the manager is so friendly! The prices are decent. You’ll know what I mean when you see the foodit’s like an art pieceIt’s the best sushi place in markham and toronto!I’m def. going there soon!
Bit pricy. But in my opinion. Worth every penny.Service is superb, staff/owner are always smiling and greeting you.If you are new to there and you behave friendly and outgoing towards them, they sometimes give you extra service(food/dessert).Food there is exceptional for how much you dish out.I would recommend any sushi fanatics to take a visit.
I always leave happy. I really want this place to succeed. They are new-ish (maybe a couple of years old?) and somewhat hidden from view when driving along Steeles, so this is most likely the reason why it’s usually quiet, and only locals seem to go there. They have amazing customer service and you can tell they take a lot of pride in using fresh ingredients; just take a look at the sushi bar when you enter to see for yourself.
Oshio. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and cozy. The staff are friendly and the quality of the sushi is alright. I’d say that it tastes rather average, doesn’t have any WOW factors. But the prices are reasonable and it’s right by my house, so I go there from time to time.
Most quality everyday Japanese restaurant in my neighbourhood. Easily come here regularly and for special occasions.
