2019/01/05Paramount was mostly full when we arrived before 6 pm for dinner. By the time we finished our meal, there was a small lineup waiting for tables. It is a good sized restaurant, with seating for about 100. We werent hungry hungry, so SWBMO and I decided to share and appetizer and meal. After we ordered our meal, a server brought us a larger, freshly baked pita. We started out with the Falafel. Six pieces freshly made, served with a small side of tahini and some pickles. A little but crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, and tasted very good. Our main dish was Shish Tawouk with a side of rice. The one skewer had eight good sized pieces of chicken. The chicken had a nice char on the outside and was moist and tender inside. Nicely seasoned and tasted pretty good. Service was mostly good. It did take a few minutes to get our servers attention at the end of the meal.
