Very quiet at Royal Orchard Thai on a Saturday afternoon. It was around 12:30, and only one other table was occupied. Pleased to say that my expectation for quick and efficient service was met. The food was good. We chose two dishes: Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, and Beef Chinese Broccoli. The protein was cooked just right, and not overcooked. Also, the portions were fairly generous. SWMBO was there a few weeks ago, and said that they have good Hot and Sour Soup, as well as good lunch specials during the week.
TERRIBLE!. When we walked in, the waiters and kitchen staff were huddled in the back of the restaurant drinking red wine. Wow what a way to impress walk-in customers. We ordered a three dishes for main entree to share among 4 people. The lamb shank came out cold. And when I say cold, IT’S COLD! It literally felt like it came out of a refrigerator. The waitress had the nerve to tell us that we wanted our lamb rare. THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT’S A COLD DISH!! The curry sauce was COLD! They brought it back in to microwave it and now the meat is not rare anymore. But when they brought it out it was COLD still. 2 out of the 3 dishes were COLD!!!! BAD BAD BAD! not coming back here again.
One of the BEST thai restaurants in Toronto and GTA. Everything I ever ordered from the menu was extremely delicious and fresh!
Lunch special is great value. Hot and sour soup delicious and spring rolls not too greasy. Pad Thai with fresh vegetables but not enough tofu
I found Phuket paradise thai restaurant has so delisous thai milk tea
I finally found a place that serves Thai Ice Tea! I can not tell you how many so called Thai places in the GTA, when I ask for Thai Ice Tea, they give me a blank stare. It was tall cold oranage and delicious.
Pretty ok. Cheap food that my friends visit often. They like it and it was decent. The waitress had a nice body and was wearing her Keemono when servicing. Not bad, ha?
