I missed my daifuku so much in japan and decided to come here to sooth my cravings. I was here on a Sunday afternoon, and to my surprise, most of the daifuku were sold out. If I came any later, I will have to wait for an hour for the next new batch. I got four different flavours, original, strawberry, matcha and sesame. You can call me boring, but my favourite one was the original. It was very creamy and the mochi is chewy, but not tough. It was on point. It would be perfect if they have a little strawberry on top just like the ones in japan. For those who are looking for the actual daifuku with red bean paste or custard, you will have to look further. As the ones here are filled with cream instead =) blogsters.blogspot.com
Wowzers this is the best bakery for best daifuku in town! I’ve been searching high and low for the best daifuku and was estatic I found them here! They only produce a limited amount each day so becareful that you arrive too late and they are all sold out! There are a variety of flavors found in Sasaki. I particularly love..love..love the black sesame seed and green tea ones. These scrumptious little daifukus are available to be ordered and boxed for special occasions which is bonus for all of our festivity needs! I can’t wait to visit again soon!
