Make a different decision for dinner. Service was horrendous, we waited well over an hour from when we arrived to when they served our meals and to top it all off a couple that were seating 10 or 15 minutes after us were served first!!! The chicken in the stir fry was somewhat nonexistent but the peppers were plentiful. The beef was dry and the mashed potatoes were pasty tasting. Not impressed in the least. The staff, including the owner (we think she was the owner) were pretty much oblivious to their service (or lack there of) level. We made mention of the lengthy delay in the arrival of our meals only to get little more than a shoulder shrug. A little empathy would have made a big difference; instead I couldnt wait to get home to write this review. We all have bad days/shifts but to simply not care pick another restaurant youll most certainly have a better dining experience.
Bad experience – we do not recommend. Not a good experience. Service very slow, wilted salad, tiny portion of wings. Server did not bring enough napkins, no condiments for burger, did not refill water once. Bill was wrong (overcharged). Will definitely not be returning here.
Always great. We eat there twice a month, the menu has a wonderful selection and always cooked to perfection, no matter what you choose.
Best Nachos. These are I think the best nachos in the GTA. They do something to the chili, maybe cumin, that makes them wonderful.
Southside Restaurant. Thanksgiving weekend I was at loss as it was the firsttime I had not cooked a turkey in 29 years. A friend suggested that we go to Southside on Hwy 7 in Markham. It was the most wonderful meal. The service was fantastic and the test of all that was served was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. Sun to Wed they have a $10 menu which is different each time and all dishes are superb.
Great brunch!. This place appears to be a hidden jewel. Although I have only gone there once, I can say I really enjoyed my brunch. Perhaps the best eggs benedict I have ever eaten, they use fresh organic products and it shows. Give it a shot.
