2018/05/18It was time for lunch, and we decided to stop in at a relatively new local Korean eatery, The Guksu and Noodle. After we ordered our lunch, our server brought us a small Kimchi appetizer for the table (spicy, but not too much) , and a small bowl of Congee for each of us (pleasant, but not a lot of flavour). SWMBO chose the Bugogi Bibimbap, with tasty, marinated and grilled beef, along a poached egg, a small sliced omelette, and a variety of thinly cut fresh and pickled vegetables. Lots of good flavours and textures. My dish was the Chicken Guksu, the Korean version of chicken noodle soup. Sliced chicken, sliced omelette, and various veggies in a very large bowl of broth. Very filling.
