Just around the corner of Matheson and Mavis, this bakery is located in of the most accessible spots in the Heartland area. Great coffee, great desserts. Has been my go-to place for pickup pastries offered at reasonable prices.
My go to place for picking up pastries when I go to a dinner or a party. Wide selection of pastries at a good cost. Would recommend this place to family and friends.
Not a bad place – the baked goods were tasty. The prices were very reasonable, service was good! A sandwich, drink, and a box of sweet baked goods cost me $11.25. Pretty good deal if you ask me!
I expect much better pasty at Brazil Bakery as after all it is a Bakery. Sadly both the Pastel de Nata and Tarte de Amendoa were just marginally good. Almond tart just hard and tasted stale. I almost just want to trashed it after 1 bite but I think My friend must be really hungry as he finished the whole thing… and then telling me it was not good?! (He must had been used to my cooking skill now… )Pastel de Nata had this thin crust that I like but the filling was just overly sweet and didn’t have much substance. Maybe I should just drink a coffee… next time…
The worst ever!! Do not waste your time or money. Worst costumer service ever!! The bread was burn and old.
Mostly bad. Some employees and owner are what is going to keep us from going back there ever again……..treat you like dirt!lots of other portuguese bakeries around and better prices!
RUDE AND VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. My first time at the bakery – I went into the bakery after 1:00 p.m. to get a sandwich. I stood in line in one place where everyone was standing and then since they were buying bread, I thought the side where they serve coffee is where I order a sandwich. No one responded and then I asked if I can order a sandwich there, and the lady kind of ignored me and I asked again and she said ‘Wait’.I then decided to move to the other side where people lined up for buying bread and asked the lady on that side if I could order a sandwich there – again she did not answer. When it came to my turn, I asked if they could make a sandwich and she said yes – then I said someone could have replied to me – since I was waiting on the other side and she said – I REALLY DON’T CARE – at which point, I just walked out.I will never go there again until they improve their attitude and customer service and of course their MANNERS.
