Delicious and Friendly!. We had the taco salad and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and it felt like a very home-felt environment. Would highly recommend!
Amazing Burritos. One of my fav mexican places. Sure they don’t serve anything fancy, but if you want a good, humble burrito or taco salad you can’t go wrong. Only problem is that they have a staff of 3, so food may come out a little slow especially on rush hour
Everything Was Amazing!. We decided to come to this restaurant as we had a craving for Mexican food. It was a beautiful day outside and the main door to the patio was open wide, with tables and chairs set-up outside. We went up to the cashier and chose our items from the menu hanging from the ceiling. The place itself is not too large however, good enough to fit about six or seven tables inside, while there were about six tables outside. The individuals behind the counter were very kind, they answered all of our questions with ease and confidence. They also asked us which type of ingredients we wanted in our items, explaining each ingredient patiently. I settled on the Tortas De Pollo, while the others in my party ordered the Burritos and the Mex Fries. As we were waiting for our meal, we were given a small basket of tortilla chips with dipping sauce. The chips were quite tasty, with three containers of sauce provided for us.After about ten minutes, our meals arrived. The Tortas De Pollo was quite good, it contained guacamole, cheese, mayonnaise, and some vegetables. The sandwich itself was a little bit small however, it could have been because I was very hungry! The chicken was moist and delicious, with just the perfect amount of flavouring. I was very impressed with how well the sandwich was prepared. The Mex Fries were also very well made, they were different from your typical fries, they were larger, with a different seasoning mix spread across the top. I enjoyed them more than any other fries that I have ever had! Dipped in ketchup, these fries were fabulous! The Burritos were large, filled to the brim with meat, vegetables, sauces, and cheese. Also, the side order of rice and beans were phenomenal; the rice was very well-cooked, with a delicious spice added to it. It wasn’t dry or stale-tasting, it had a great zest to it. In total, we spent about $45.00 for three meals, plus a side order of fries, which we thought was an excellent price considering that we were given a ton of food, enough for another meal the next day!Overall, this restaurant highly met my expectations. The atmosphere felt similar to being in Mexico, with the music, outdoor patio, and food. The service and food were excellent; this is the best Mexican restaurant that I have visited to date. I would highly recommend that everyone give this restaurant a try if they are craving Mexican food.
They are still just as good as they were years ago. A bit weird for the first timer as you order at the counter but the restaurant has a dine in feel. The wet burrito is the bomb. Huge and great tasting with a little touch of cinnimon. The tacos are also very good but a tad dry so make sure you add sauce. They come on nice corn tortillas which i dont think are made there but are fresh. I wish i could find them in a grocery store. Speeking of hot sauce they have a pretty decent selection. The owner is a great guy especially if you get a chance to chat with him. Cant wait to go back next time i am in the area.
Mexican food? if you say so. I am not sure why this place thinks its serving Mexican food. The only Mexican flavor I tasted was the cilantro they throw on the food to give it that Mexican look. Beans were tasteless, rice was all wrong in flavors, the enchilada had a pinch of MINT???? They even got the guacamole wrong, Who gets that wrong????? not sure who the chief here is , but it certainly not MEXICAN cuisine. Another wanna be Mexican Restaurant that cant get it right. If you are looking for authentic Mexican DONT COME HERE.
Mediocre at best, their beef quesadilla is overly cheesy and the meat is dry, the salmon taco, dry and tasteless, I was hoping for savory, smokey spices, fresh lime and cilantro flavour, sadly disappointed, the upside is its quick when you’re in a hurry since its mostly all Pre-made, I’d rather take a trip downtown for authentic Mexican LOL I’d compare this to calling Manchu Wok authentic Chinese cuisine, won’t be back
Was really craving Mexican and wanted, very much, to like this place. The words ‘too much garlic’ don’t come close to indicating the magnitude of allium sativum present in my Wet Burrito. Just not very good 🙁
