Hello Guys,Missing Authentic South Indian? Dont miss this placeQualityTaste AmbienceBudget Must go! These guys serve chutneys which are very nice.We tried Pav Bhabhi DosaMasala DosaTofu Dosa And Idli SamBhar. It was amanzing and trust me best in Ontario
Visited this place as had heard a lot about it. Wasn’t disappointed. Ordered various south Indian dishes. All of them were well prepared. Service was also satisfactory. I can safely rate it as one of the best in GTA.
So after hearing a lot of great reviews from countless people in my social circle, I decided to try gurulukshmi with a few friends. We took a friend’s advice and booked a table well in advance. We arrived to a pack restaurant which smelled great. We ordered the idli Wada combo as appetizer and it was delicious. For mains I ordered the Mysore masala dosa and my friend ordered the Rawa Onion Masala dosa. The dosas were pretty good too.The best thing about this place was the authenticity in their preparations and licked our plates clean.Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.
I was never a big fan of south indian food as the options are mostly vegetarian , but after visiting GuruLakshmi my view point towards the south indian food changed completely. I would like to say its the best south indian food I have ever had in my life, and I am have lived in India most of my life.As there always a waiting at this place its advisable to call in advance to get a table. the staff always tells you about the long wait times if you just walk in without a reservation. The quality of food and the service here is unmatched. The dosa here tastes like heaven, the aroma of ghee and spices makes the meal great.also what is unique is their signature dosa’s, with so many options of innovative dosas to try you can never run out of options and flavours.Must try – Dahi wada, Coriander Dosa , Butter Garlic Dosa , Mini IdlisIf you love indian food and want try excellent dosas, this is the place in Toronto.food – 5Service – 5ambience – 4
It serves authentic Indian food. I liked dahi vada, dosa and pav bhaji as well. They serve good quality Indian food. Also ,spring roll dosa is highly recommended.
Used to be one of the best South Indian restaurants in the GTA. The quality of the food has deteriorated tremendously. When I last visited the medu vada and the dosa smelt as of they were fried/cooked in rancid oil. I hope the restaurant was just having a bad day being overwhelmed with the crowd. Will give Gurilakshmi another try.
When I went to my trip to Canada and was feeling homesick my friends suggested me of this awesome place where I could have all the Indian food I wanted to hog onto.At first I had second thoughts about this place about the food and the authenticity of it, but it was as good as it would have been in Indian. Loved it !
