First time having Afgan food and loved it. Lamb chops were very tender and not over spiced; ingredients must be very fresh. Portions were generous. Lots of seating available.
Amazing Restaurant Experience. I’ve never had Afghan food before: I tend to prefer more traditional Canadian/European meals, and usually avoid unfamiliar foods. On this night, however, I decided to try something new, so I bought the Tikka Kabob Dinner. It was delicious! The beef was not dry or overcooked, the rice was wonderfully spiced; neither were too salty (as I quite often get with breaded meat). I don’t care for cabbage in salads, but theirs was so delicious, the cabbage actually worked out wonderfully. And the food presentation was what I would have expected more from a higher class restaurant. The service was amazing: they were very patient with us as we struggled to understand our menu options, and they were very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
I get that it’s a Friday lunch time and there are a lot of people here but 25 minutes for a wrap is ridiculous.

Pizza and Pasta to die for…. I tried the Chicken Fiesta Pizza and the Pasta Alfredo and it was without a doubt the best I have had and the cost was reasonable as well. I will definitely be going again and I highly recommend Helmand Kabob for everyone. they have something for everyone.
Good food, good value. Tried WAZERI KABOB DINNER $10.99. Never had Afghan food before. It was incredible! The ground beef was more like a good steak than a hamburger. The chicken was so moist and juicy. Definitely not what you expect at a fast food. The seasoning was light and not overpowering. Half a plate of seasoned rice plus a naan and salad!Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu!
