I came here half an hour before close ( I gotta stop doing that ) by myself. So my whole experience was a little rushed. I was overwhelmed by the amount of sushi choice but I stuck with my usual salmon sushi (sushi is first pick at the buffet). I proceeded to get a bunch of other random foods and honestly the mashed ready made beef or whatever were not doing it for me. I regretted not getting anything besides meat made fresh like a noodle bowl. But I did get them to make me a fresh steak and it was not that great- a little elasticy. I loved the lobster tails with butter- hard to crack but delicious. I did not enjoy the lemon chicken / sweet and sour pork and those flavoured things because it was a little dry to me. It’s hard to remember now what I did enjoy because I forgot to take pictures but I know for a fact I loved the dessert! Very good waffle with ice cream selections. Just delicious. The service was amazing. Next time I would take my time and come with someone else. And order a fresh stir fry. But next time I go I will only be eating the vegetarian items since I am now a vegetarian again so we will see how that goes !

Was a bit is pretty much Mandarin with a way better sushi selection. The place itself is huge and actually rather nice. Very clean and the layout of the buffet is spacious so people don’t have to crowd around like a pig pen. They happen to have quite a bit of hot foods and a much larger sushi selection than any Chinese buffet I’ve seen. The sushi selection is what my friend told me was the reason for coming. He wasn’t kidding when he mentioned the large selection. They cut it in half with vegetarian rolls and meaty rolls. They even do sashimi for weekend lunch, which is a nice touch. The sushi was pretty decent, but still AYCE so don’t expect gourmet sushi. The hot foods are pretty good, though not as vast as the sushi. The tables look long and you would think there would be a lot to choose from, but the dishes are spread far apart from each other. It’s kind of good in the sense that people don’t crowd around. They have a nice selection of soups, salads, and dim sum items as well. The grill didn’t seem to be occupied by anyone. I saw some people waiting for someone to make them noodles, but it never happened. The rotisserie is also a bit weak, but at least someone was there. The desserts are also rather large and they had a wide assortment of ice cream, pastries, and cakes. Not a lot of fruit though. This buffet is huge and can probably hold enough people where you never need reservations. The parking is plentiful as it is shared with a giant plaza. It is interconnected with the Korean BBQ joint so it seems its an AYCE haven for you guys. Would come back over Mandarin. cheatdayeveryday.com
