I was delighted when I discovered this new spot through uber eats. The menu is very unique and this is the first restaurant I seen with cheap chicken and waffles (as opposed to those big chains). It’s like fast food chicken and waffles. I love their theme, I love the cutely decorated interior with random positive quotes on the wall. The customer service was good. And of course the food I received was good also. The signature chicken sandwich with their special in house sauce was delicious. The fries were good too. Also they have Mac and cheese poppers which was very unique to me. I will definitely return! I also love the packaging of the food lol. It’s the little simple touches that had me excited.
FOOD:I had come here on a Wednesday afternoon at around 2:45 pm for a late lunch. I had settled on the Big Crisp Meal ($8.75), which included a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Fries (Additional $0.50), and a Fountain Drink. I had asked if I could have a dipping sauce with my Spicy Fries, and the cashier graciously gave me a sample of the Sweet Mayo Sauce for free, along with a variety of ketchup packages just in case I had wanted ketchup instead. In terms of the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, I did find it to be a good size however, there was hardly anything on it, only some lettuce, and a type of spicy sauce. I had to add ketchup to the sandwich as it was a bit too dry for my taste. Also, the Spicy Fries were quite good, crispy and appetizing however, it came in a very small container, and the Fountain Drink was also quite small for the price that I had paid. Overall, the food was pretty good, I just found the portion sizes a bit too small, and some of the toppings werent enough.ATMOSPHERE:When I had walked-into this restaurant, I was surprised to see how large it was; with many tables and booths available for seating. Also, there was a large TV playing the local news channel which was nice to see. I liked how the menu was placed on a chalkboard at the front upon walking-in; it was large, and easy-enough to read. I also liked the various colours of the seating, light fixtures, and walls; it made the atmosphere more interesting!SERVICE:When I had first walked-in, I was greeted by a kind middle-aged woman that was behind the counter. Since it was my first-time visiting this restaurant, I wasnt sure of a few things so, I had to ask her some questions. She was very pleasant, and answered all of my questions with ease, I found it easy to communicate with her. When my meal was ready, she came to where I was sitting and brought it directly to me, I thought that was very kind of her. Definitely great service at this restaurant!COST:The Big Crisp Meal (Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Fries (Additional $0.50) & Fountain Drink): $8.75 + Tax = $9.89WOULD YOU RETURN?The food was pretty good, and the service was great so, I would definitely come back and try something else!
