Great selection of grilled food. Lamb chops are usually not that great when you go for buffets but this place should get credit for their lamb chops. You will definitely get a variety of options that will quench your palate. I loved them all. One of my favourite dishes was the dragon cauliflower.Biryani was also one of the top choices on my list. It was too spicy for me but that kick tied the whole dish together.Overall this place won’t disappoint you.
We been there last Saturday, group of 5.Lets talk about our experience. When we entered looked around one word for ambience WAAAAOOOOO loved their chandelier, crockery, walls, partitioning is done so beautifully, Staff treats you so well, at entrance one person ask you and guides you to your seat and same person sticked till end which is appreciable as it dont mess your order .We were tempting for mango shake on first go we ordered it. Trust me its best one in town among all i tried so far.We took buffet, they have wide variety and everything is so fresh and yummy over another thing. To be noted they have both vegetarian and non vegetarian buffet.Starters have tikki, samosa, chat variety, golgappe, dahi bhalle, paneer tikka, veggie stir fry , paneer pakora, fish pakora , chicken tikka etc.Main course curry pakora, lamb curry, chicken curry, dal makhni (to be noted i am going again for this dal ) rajma, mix veg, lamb and paneerSalad bar and fruit bar have very good variety.Dessert bar, i love their pastry and gulab jamun so much Thou they have so many other things which i cant even try, going again for it.Another temptation chole bhatoore for lunch or breakfast is must try here. After buffet all 5 were satisfied , tummy overfull, loved food and loved hospitality. They close buffet 30 min before restaurant closingDinner buffet 20.99$/person Everyone should try one happy eating
We came for late lunch buffet on one of the weekends. Service was decent as crowd wasn’t much. Ambience was really nice and tables were comfortable. There were enough vegetarian options as well. Desserts choices weren’t that great. Cakes were okay but ice creams were delicious. We paid total of 60 dollars for 2 of us.
Absolutely divine!! Loved the perfect blend of Indian spices and flavors.Indeed India’s Taste <3Service was amazing and the bar menu has so many options for beer lovers!!
Today we had a family get together in Indias Tase restaurant at Mississauga. This is the fifth time I am visiting this place and I refer most of my friends. I thought It would be such a wonderful place for our get together so we travelled all the way from Scarborough to Mississauga. I have 17 months old kid, My wife was feeding him after his meal he suddenly vomited. My wife requested manager to send someone to clean the area for hygiene reason. They didnt turn up after a while an employee came near to us with an plastic bag and towel informed us to clean the floor. That was very rude we argued but they were stubborn so we cleaned it. Before leaving I spoke with the Restaurant owner about the rudeness of his staff, instead of apologizing he also showed his rude face to me and he told if your kid did a mess it is your responsibility to fix it. On top of that he questioned me that will you clean my baby mess than why should We do? If I own a restaurant yes I will, Because its my business. I have never left a negative comment in my life, I can only say my experience with both food and service at Indias Taste was really bad.
Great ambience, excellent staff who will always greet you with smile. The owners are also friendly and buffet has so many items to offer. We sometimes do go for al-a-carte and the best thing we go for is chole bhature. Just fill yourself up and relish it.
FOOD:We had come here on a Wednesday afternoon at around 1:00 pm for lunch. When we had walked-in, we were asked what we would like to drink; we both settled on water. Once we were given our water, we had asked if we could start on the buffet. We then made our way to the buffet which was at the back of the restaurant. We were quite surprised when we saw how much food there was available. On one end of the buffet, there were a lot of appetizer items, such as spring rolls, fries, samosas, pakora, and other smaller finger-foods. In the middle of the buffet, there were the curries, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and other meat/vegetarian dishes. It was quite an abundance of items which made us happy to see! The last section of the buffet had fruit and salads, with quite a large number to choose from. There was also a section with a few cakes, and an ice cream freezer. In terms of the naan, we were asked at our tables which type of naan we would prefer (plain, butter, or garlic; we chose plain and butter). In terms of the food quality, we found it to be very delicious as all of the items were very well-prepared, with a wonderful taste. I really enjoyed the butter chicken as I found it quite tender, and highly-appetizing. The appetizers such as the spring rolls, samosas, and roasted potatoes were delicious, and addicting as well! Overall, we were highly-impressed with the food quality, definitely well-worth our visit!ATMOSPHERE:When we had first walked into this restaurant, we were shocked at how beautifully decorated it was! At the front of the restaurant, there was a cascading waterfalls, with a large wine rack with many bottles of wine stored behind glass. As we walked to our seats (which was a comfortable booth near the bar), we were impressed with the elegant light fixtures that donned the ceiling. We also loved the decor that was placed on the walls, along with how clean and inviting the restaurant was. Definitely one of the best decorated buffet restaurants that Ive ever been to!SERVICE:When we had entered the restaurant, we were asked by a server at the front where we would like to sit. We were then brought to a booth near the bar, which was a bit tight however, we made-do with what we had. We did notice that at times, it was difficult to get a hold of someone in order to place an an order of naan bread or ask for water however, when we did find someone, we were able to get service right-away. Also, we loved how our dirty dishes were taken away very often once we had finished eating. Definitely great service for the most part!COST:2 Lunch Buffets ($15.99/Person) = $31.98 + Taxes = $36.14 (Total)WOULD YOU RETURN?Without a doubt! We found the food, service, and especially the cost to be well-above our expectations!
