2017/12/23We had a couple of things to do in Mississauga, and we stopped in for a quick lunch at Quesada. For whatever reason, both of us were in the mood for one of their Burrito Bowls. SWBMO got the Regular Bowl with Rice and Ancho Pork. I got theLarge Bowl with Lettuce and Flame-Grilled Chicken. You get a choice of about a dozen toppings, three salsas, and five sauces; something for every taste. A decent, quick lunch.
FOOD:I had come here on a Friday afternoon at around 2:00 pm for the Complimentary Burrito as it was the Grand Opening. I had settled on the Flame-Grilled Chicken Burrito ($7.99); I was able to choose the toppings therefore, I chose a White Burrito with Rice, Shredded Cheese, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Corn, Sour Cream, and Chipotle Sauce. The Burrito was actually quite a good size however, the ingredients on the inside were not as good as I would have hoped. There was only a small amount of chicken, and it was cut very small therefore, it was hard to actually taste. The rice still tasted a bit hard, and the cheese was not even melted. There was definitely not enough sour cream or chipotle sauce in the burrito itself, making it taste dry. I also noticed that it was only placed on the grill for about ten seconds, which wasnt long enough for it to actually taste good. Overall, I wasnt too impressed with this burrito, it definitely wasnt worth the money (if I had to pay for it).ATMOSPHERE:Since it was the Grand Opening, it was quite busy, with many people lining-up to get their hands on a free burrito. I had to wait in-line for about ten minutes however, the line moved quickly. There were various photos on the wall, with the walls splashing a variety of colours which made the place seem vibrant. The seating wasnt very comfortable though, and the tables were much too small.SERVICE:When I had reached the front-counter to place my order, the individuals that assisted me were kind however, they were obviously in quite a rush as there was a line-up forming behind me. It was difficult to hear them at times as it was so loud however, I could tell that they were definitely doing their best to serve every customer at a good speed.COST:1 Flame-Grilled Chicken Burrito: $7.99 + Tax = $9.02 (Complimentary Burrito For Grand Opening): Paid $0.00WOULD YOU RETURN?No; the food wasnt very good, it just wasnt worth the money or experience.
