My sister and I went through a sushi phase (1 year ago), where we were trying to find the best sushi, and when we found this one, we were a little hesitant on going in, but i’m so happy we did! A lot of the sushi I’ve tried has all tasted so similar, but not at this place. There’s actually some depth in the flavour of the sushi, and the spring rolls and dumplings are also amazing! And the staff is also very nice and welcoming! This has become our go-to sushi place!

Great Items In A Warm Environment!. We had decided to come here based on the reviews that were written. When we walked in on a Saturday evening, we were greeted by one of the sushi chefs behind the counter. He asked us where we wanted to sit; we chose the seating in front of the sushi counter. After a few minutes, we were given menus by the only waitress on the floor. The restaurant itself wasn’t too big however, it felt very quaint. There were cute photos on the wall and the dcor was modern yet it maintained a cultural feel. The waitress was very kind and funny, she made a few jokes which made us feel comfortable. We settled on the Seaweed Salad and Yam Tempura to begin. We noticed that the prices for the items were very cheap, compared to other sushi restaurants of the same quality. Our Seaweed Salad arrived quickly. It was delicious! It wasn’t drenched in dressing as some of them are however, it had just the perfect amount of sauce. It was fresh and tasty! The Yam Tempura were a little bit hard however, they were fried to perfection and were always hot (temperature wise) no matter how long they stayed in the bowl. Our main dishes then arrived about ten minutes after we had finished our appetizers. I had ordered the Philadelphia Roll, while my fianc ordered the Sushi/Maki combo, which included Miso Soup and a Lettuce Salad. The Philadelphia Roll came with four pieces however, they were all large, and it only cost $4.99 which I thought was cheap. They were delicious, with just the perfect amount of cream cheese and rice. The Sushi/Maki combo was also great, with the fish tasting fresh and presented beautifully on the dish. The Miso Soup was only $1.00 which I thought was great considering the cost of the soup at other locations. The Lettuce Salad was also fresh with a dressing that gave it a perfect garnish. In total, we spent about $31 for our meal. We thought that was an excellent price considering that we had ordered a lot of food, and it was brought to us quickly with a smile. The only downfall of this place was that it was quite small, so if you choose to have a large gathering here, it may not be possible. Also, there was only one waitress therefore, dishes were often piled on the tables after the guests left for an extended period of time. Possibly having another waitress on staff may be a good idea for the busy evenings. We also noticed that take-out is available at this location, and a lot of people were coming in just for the take-out alone. Will definitely be returning to try some other items! I urge you all to do the same!

Completely dissappointed. Today was my third visit to Sushi 4 U in the past month. To my dissappointed, my lunch was below satisfactory. I got an avocado roll and a spicy salmon roll. I started with the avocado roll, noticed that the rice was undercooked (my first thought). I continued to proceeded to the spicy salmon…YUK! They overkilled it with tobasco sauce to cover up the salmon which was obviously not fresh! So the rice wasn’t undercooked, it was old just like the fish. Never again!!!!

I found this place by chance, it has a deceivingly bad store front but inside is quite nice and cozy. The rolls are delicious and so is the chicken teriyaki! I’ve found the service to be great, with waiters that ensure that my cup of green tea is never empty. With a really well priced menu it has become my go-to sushi place.

Still love the food, but slow service. Worth the wait if you have the time.09 Nov, 2012First impressions were good with a clean new decor. New pricing is good-better quality food than the AYCE close by. Over much better and will be my to go place near home.

Pricey but good. It’s pricier than normal sushi places, but it’s done well so you don’t leave feeling ripped off.
