Great food and service at this family run restaurant! Their menu has something for everybody and with good prices. I had the Beef Dip which was delicious and i look forward to going back and and trying something new.
Love places like this. Old, family run. Great food decent price, great service!! Decent portions. Awesome pizza!! It’s been around forever for a reason. Pop in with the kids one night you won’t be disappointed. No frills goodness

Horrible frozen fish and chips, burnt and sketchy fries. I am incredibly disappointed with the fish and chips at this restaurant. This was my first visit and definitely my last. I was over at the Taste of Britain store which is a block away and I was in the mood for fish and chips. I arrived at Gainsborough restaurant and ordered them and they were clearly old, frozen and sketchy triangular fish patties and burnt and old chips. It was a horrible experience and I feel like they should know better. I have never been to a restaurant and ordered fish and chips and had an experience like this. They have always been battered and fresh no matter where I’ve had them. Do not eat at this restaurant, the frozen food is horrific and the fact that they serve it is insulting to paying customers.
I have never been so disturbed by an order of fish and chips. The triangle shape and the grey appearance was enough to make me cringe. I did give it a try, and I am sad to report that my stomach and taste buds or highly disappointed ! An iceberg lettuce salad smothered In a generic dressing. Soggy fries probably sitting around and almost black in colour. All I could taste was the unchanged fryer oil. Truly sad
This is the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to try the deep fried panzerotti.
