THE CLERK/OWNER WALKED OUT AND BACK TO THE BACK ROOM AND NEVER ONCE ACKNOWLEDGED MY PRESENCE SO I WALKED OUT. IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A BUSINESS YOU NEED TO LEARN WHAT THE HELL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! NEVER GOING BACK, WENT TO HAMILTONS AND GOT DELICIOUS BAKERY ITEMS JUST DOWN THE STREET!
I work in Strathroy but I would drive from London to come to Art’es just for the donuts. They are huge and made on site. Their pasteis de Nata are also the best I’ve ever had. They also offer great lunches. They have a different daily soup and their sandwiches are delicious. My personal favourite is the chicken club. They grill the chicken and bacon when you order it so its super fresh. It also comes on a delicious Portuguese bun made in house. There is plenty of seating and it has a homey atmosphere. They have home made buns and bread for sale as well and have a chest freezer full of assorted Portuguese goods. If your in Strathroy check this place out even if its just for a donut and a coffee.
