    Unfortunately, the manager who I believe is the owner, was so rude that I will never return. After several mistakes with the food, they came to the table to speak with us. Their attitude was very negative to begin with, and when confronted with a blatant lie we had been told by staff, I was basically yelled at and told my business wasnt needed because the restaurant would always be full, regardless.

    Mediocre at best. Had dinner at The Arch on a Saturday night and wouldn’t go back! The building was hot and noisy! Long wait times, never received our bread, the food was mediocre (husband had steak & I had the baked penne) and the service wasn’t great! The girl came around refilling water glasses twice and both times ignored my empty glass (refilled my husband’s nearly full glass both times… I even asked for water). We had to ask for butter for potatoes & nobody ever asked about steak sauce. We saw our server twice the entire time.

    Last thing you wanna do is complain!. This place usually serves great food and gives good service but needs to work on their complaint process. I returned a steak after having a few bites and was given a real hard time about it. After I returned the steak because it was too tough nobody came back to ask me if I wanted another one or another meal, then I was still charged for 2/3 of it, then was asked if I’d pay half. Not sure what the logic was there. They did end up refunding the steak but I was told I should have said something so they could have made me another one.

    I agree that the menu hasn’t changed at the arch. But the reason people do love it is the consistent product. The food is always good and service is excellent. It may not be the fanciest place, but this family run business is a midland staple for a reason.

    Food tastes good… Saganaki is an excellent starter and impressive because they set fire to it table side. However the rest of the menu and setting need updating. The food looks bland, boring and old-fashioned. So does the interior unless you are next to the big window in the back. My Grandmother loves this place, but if I’m going to spend the $$$ I’d prefer a place that has better mood and has an outstanding menu.
