Great newer spot in Burlington. Confusing to see some reviews on sites citing slow service. Our dinner for 4 including Appi’s took 1.15 which we all thought was perfect. Table had some burgers, fries, Cajun Mac & cheese and green beans. Other goodies had was the Meet Meat plater for 2. All was great and everyone enjoyed it all. If you want a great kickoff, have the chipotle wings … yummy spicy!
A very nice fairly new restaurant on Fairview in Burlington. I stopped in one day for lunch. Very nice decor, interior and the patio, I sat in the bar area. I had a burger which was great and a tea (you should try one, a very unique presentation). If I had any criticism it would be the service, it was friendly but a little slow. I will return when I’m back in the area.
Disappointing, was very excited to eat here. Arrived for lunch on a Saturday, decor is lovely, but that’s about where it ends. We wanted to try the sampler and the Server informed us that there was only a brunch menu on the weekend. We didn’t really order what we had come for, then saw other people getting full dinner menus. Why our server did not tell us we had the option to pick from either the brunch or dinner menu, no idea. We waited a full 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches with fries, and the place was almost empty. Multiple servers and staff milled around. No one explained why our food was taking so long, or even offered to refill our drinks. When the food finally arrived the server apologized (hadn’t bothered to check in on us prior to this – we even would have been happy with an explanation or a small plate of fries while we waited). The food itself was extremely underwhelming. Overseasoned, oversalted, burned fries, a lot of bread and a miniscule amount of meat in the sandwiches (brisket and pulled pork). Felt like we ate a lot of bread and fries and didn’t satisfy the meat craving at all. The tiny meat that was in the sandwiches was not that flavorful. If you want good BBQ, drive to Buffalo for Dinosaur BBQ – it’s worth it and better priced. Would not return here.
