FOOD:I had come here for lunch on a Friday afternoon at around 1:00 pm. I had settled on the Regular Beef Shawarma ($5.75), with the toppings of Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Tahini Sauce. I was disappointed with the Shawarma as the beef pieces were too large, and they were not cut as small as I would have liked. Also, there were hardly any toppings inside; I couldn’t taste the Tahini Sauce, and the Lettuce and Tomatoes were just barely peppered throughout the Shawarma. I also found a large piece of beef fat that I almost choked on; it was definitely not appetizing at all. Although the Shawarma itself was quite large for the price, I didn’t enjoy the taste, and found it not worth the money I had spent.ATMOSPHERE:This restaurant used to be a coffee shop as you can still see the coffee shop logos on the doors when you come into the restaurant. The restaurant itself was very quiet and dull; there was no music playing, the walls were a very bland colour, and the tables and chairs looked as though they had been there for many years. It looked as though there was no thought put into making the place look presentable, it just felt drab to be there.SERVICE:When I had first walked into the restaurant, I had to wait about five minutes before someone came to the cash register to take my order. Also, as I was eating, I heard the cashier and one of the cooks arguing with each other, loud enough for everyone to hear and understand. It was not very appealing, and I definitely felt uncomfortable sitting there listening to them argue. The cashier was nice enough to me though, and the cook was nice as well.COST:1 Regular Beef Shawarma: $5.75 + Tax = $6.50WOULD YOU RETURN?No; nothing about this place left me satisfied; it wasn’t a place I would like to return to.
Not worth the money. Food was not fresh , we order 2 Sharma platter chicken only they ran out of everything. They have meat saved up and they preheat and give you in the platter, they will never carve the fresh meat from the stack, which I think is disgusting esp if you are expecting fresh food. I will never go back to that place. No customer service and cashier was rude.
