Owned and operated by the best family, who make the best food! I’ve had take out, dine in and catering experiences here and none have fallen short of amazing! Obsessed with the eggplant parm!
FOOD:I had settled on the Chicken Parmigiana On A Bun for lunch, which came with additional sauce on the bun. I had asked if I could have the bun toasted in the oven as I find it tastes much better this way. The woman behind the counter whom served me agreed enthusiastically, asking me if there were any other ingredients (e.g. mushrooms, onions, etc.) that I would like in the sandwich. I told her that the chicken and the additional sauce was all I had wanted. Once I had sat down to eat the sandwich, I was in heaven! It was VERY delicious, with the chicken tasting moist and fresh, along with it being a large piece! It also had the perfect amount of sauce and melted cheese on it(it wasn’t drenched in sauce which was great to see). Also, the bun was toasted, which tasted fabulous as it added a nice flair to the sandwich. You could tell that all of the ingredients in this sandwich were fresh, and that the chicken and sauce were homemade. I’ve had my share of Chicken Parmigiana On A Bun elsewhere, and I have to say that this one was one of the BEST that I had ever had!ATMOSPHERE:The shop was a bit small, with a hot table, gelato counter, and four small tables for guests to dine at. People were coming and going as it was around 1:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. There were many items available to enjoy, such as pizza, veal, chicken, pasta, and other homemade Italian delicacies. The shop felt like a family business as there was an older man and woman, along with a younger man, whom seemed to know many of the customers whom walked-in. Definitely a plus when there is a family vibe!SERVICE:When I first walked-in, I was greeted by the older gentleman, whom asked me what I would like. I told him that I needed some time to decide, at which he gladly agreed. Afterwards, the older woman went behind the hot counter, and asked what I would like. I had to look at the items, then make a decision. One thing I would suggest is to have a listing of the items available as I wasn’t sure what I could order without having to look at the hot table, along with not knowing the prices for the items available. The woman whom served me was so enthusiastic and kind, making me feel comfortable when I had asked questions. She was warm and sweet, it felt like I was at home with my mom! COST:Chicken Parmigiana On A Bun: $7.74 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?Most definitely! Excellent homemade food in a cozy environment, who wouldn’t want to give it a try? It was well-worth the money, and I was filled for hours afterwards. One thing to note is that they currently only accept cash however, they do have an ATM in the shop if you need to withdraw cash while there.
