Ordered small 2 #25, along with 2 Vietnamese ice coffee. I dont really agree with the tiny bowl the pho came in, made it difficult to mix my sauce, mint leaves, and bean sprouts into the soup base. This place is the first place Ive been to where they charge more $ for soup base and the ratio for soup base to noodle was not proportional. Extra charge for more soup. Anyways, but if you need a pho fix in Milton, this place is the best compare to other pho places in the milton region. The pho was OK, it was disappointing and leans to the more pricey side just for pho. About $7.75? For a small. Service was bad, the place is really dim and dark. I personally wouldnt return.
We got food to go from here, ordered veg fried rice, mixed vegetables with tofu with vermicille and curry veg with vermicille. Food was good although just a little less salty for me, around 10-15 minutes wait which wasn’t bad for a Friday night. Average from inside, but not shabby. Would recommend trying it out for sure.
FOOD:I had ordered the Beef Pad Thai ($9.50), while my husband had ordered the Rice Paper Roll With Shrimp, Pork, Vegetables & Vermicelli Noodles ($4.25) and the Rare Beef Flank Tendon Pho ($7.75). When I had ordered the Beef Pad Thai, I wasnt asked about how high or low I had wanted the spice intensity to be. However, when it had arrived, I was given a dish of VERY spicy noodles, which made it literally impossible for me to eat. I had to let the server know as Im not able to eat very spicy items.Instead of the server offering me another item for free however, I had to order another Beef Pad Thai, this time with very mild spice (one that I had to pay for). When I had received the second order of Beef Pad Thai, I was disappointed as there were not too many noodles, and the little amount of beef that I had received was very thin, and not very appetizing. Also, the dish was filled with many vegetables, which included bean sprouts and peppers. I would have thought that it would have been good however, the dish just didnt satisfy my taste buds. My husband had mentioned that he enjoyed his Rice Paper Roll and Rare Beef Flank Tendon Pho however, I didnt try his items as I was unable to eat certain things inside of the dishes. Overall though, definitely not the best order of Beef Pad Thai that I had tried.ATMOSPHERE:This restaurant was located in a shopping plaza near a major intersection. The restaurant itself was small and cozy, with television screens showing the local news, and comfortable booths. I did enjoy the atmosphere as I found it to be warm and inviting. Definitely a step-up from some other restaurants that Ive been to.SERVICE:When we had arrived, there were menus on our table. We then proceeded to order our items from the menu after our server came to take our orders. One thing we didnt understand was that the table beside us had come after us however, they seemed to receive their orders before my husbands main dish arrived. The service was a bit lacking at times, especially when it came to getting their attention in order to let them know about the Beef Pad Thai mix-up. I also was unable to get a refill on my water as there was no one in sight.COST:1 Order Of Rice Paper Roll With Shrimp, Pork, Vegetables & Vermicelli Noodles: $4.25 + 1 Beef Pad Thai: $9.50 + 1 Rare Beef Flank Tendon Pho: $7.75 = $24.29 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?I wouldnt be interested in returning as I didnt find the food to be very good, and the service wasnt as good I had hoped.
