4 stars for the sandwiches, 3 stars for the donuts. I would have given the sandwiches 5 stars, but they don’t offer any toppings other than a delicious combination (with the perfect ratios) of mayonnaise and mustard. You can choose a freshly baked bun and the deli meat and cheese. They give you huge portions of deli meat in your sandwiches. Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The donuts are very popular and it is advised to order them in advance. On the weekends, they make lemon or custard or berry filled donuts. I liked the chocolate glaze (it wasn’t too sweet and it had a nice, thick, almost fudgy texture). I did not like the lemon filling. The donuts are yeast based, and they’re HUGE! They have a slightly dense, chewy, texture. Personally, I prefer yeast donuts that are softer and airier. Good donuts, just not my preference. Also, the service was wonderful! The girl that helped us was really really nice and patient, since it was our first time there. cookingwithalison.com
