FOOD:I had come here for a quick snack on a Monday afternoon at around 3:00 pm. I had settled on the Sicilian Cannoli, which had white filling on one side, and chocolate filling on the other. The Cannoli was actually very good; the crust was crunchy, while the filling was fresh and very tasty. The only thing that I would have liked was to have some chocolate chips inside of the filling as I usually notice that this adds a nice touch to the cannoli itself. I really liked the chocolate filling as it tasted like espresso; it was definitely a very well-made dessert, and it was reasonably-priced as well!ATMOSPHERE:When we had come-in, there was nobody sitting down at the tables however, there was one individual at the cash register drinking a coffee. There were two women behind the counter that were talking; one was on the phone yelling in Italian, while the other one was talking to the man at the counter. There was a television playing the local news on one wall near the seating area. There were a lot of display counters with various desserts, along with displays of cakes on top of the counters. It was a very well-decorated and clean bakery. SERVICE:When I had approached the counter, the woman whom assisted me was talking to the other woman however, she quickly turned her attention to me and asked what I would like. She wasnt overly friendly, and didnt greet me with a smile or a hello. She only told me the price of the item, and I paid it as soon as she gave me the item. The customer service was just okay, but I didnt feel it to be too warm.COST:1 Sicilian Cannoli: $2.00 (Taxes Included)WOULD YOU RETURN?Definitely; I really enjoyed the Sicilian Cannoli, and would like to try their lunch specials if I had the chance.
Stopped here with the intention of going to Tim Hortons across the parking lot but changed my mind. I came in and ordered a cappuccino and biscotti. The staff seemed to be having an argument about something in Italian when I got there so no one was particularly nice. The coffee was good and they put some cocoa on top. The biscotti had a nice flavour and wasn’t too hard. I’d go back. They sell a lot of things there including lunch.
Family Bakery. This bakery is great. I’ve never eaten there but they make all the cakes for my family occasions and they’re very reliable and well priced for the quality. I’m not sure why the service gets such a bad rap on US but they treat us well. Just now I called in last minute for a cake for my mother’s birthday and they said no problem. Thank you to everyone at Diana’s.
