Probably the best pakistani restaurant in Toronto GTA. I ordered the Mutton Karahi and the Seekh Kebabs….totally great and I tried all 3 Naans – Butter, Garlic and regular…(they were good, i’d say a 9/10) but the Karahi was well done with the right spices. Good clean place….a rarity. Must go if you like depth of flavour.
Eat moreDined here last week and was really glad to see that even though we were visiting after 3+ years, the food and customer service is still pretty decent. It’s been one of the only ‘fine dining’ Pakistani restaurants in this area for a long time.We were a group of six and ordered a few dishes. Some of were a miss but for the most part they were a hit. Here’s a quick breakdown:- Aloo tikki: these were so surprisingly delicious! Perfectly flavored with spices and the texture was just at the right consistency, soft but not falling apart. Beware when ordering these, they are SUPER SPICY and definitely not for the faint hearted!- Daal: really enjoyed this dry version of maash daal. The lentil were soft and very tasty.- Butter chicken: way too sweet for our liking and came out cold and despite asking our server to warm it up again, it remained cold.- Charga: seasoned with the right spice blend but needed to be a bit more bolder. Perhaps it was kept this way to appeal to the milder palates. We ordered naan to enjoy the curries with. Not pictured here but we also ordered mutton shanks with masala. These were cooked well and we’re perfectly tender.Overall, we had a pleasant experience and we will continue to visit in the future. mytasteperspective.wordpress.com
