Pretty good ambiance for a Chinese restaurant. Parking is good even if it shares with a bunch of other retailers in the plaza. We went in on a Wednesday evening and it wasn’t too busy with just around 5 tables occupied including us. We were seated very fast and given menus. There were 8 of us in our group. As of any Chinese restaurants, we needed to be careful ordering because it gets lost in translation. The waitress was not as receptive as we hoped. Not really friendly. We had yeung chow fried rice, Cantonese chow mien, whole roasted chicken, braised scallops, and golden shrimp. It came in a timely manner. The food was cooked very well. The roasted chicken was done perfectly with the skin crunchy and moist meat even the white meat. The scallops were made very fresh without the fishy flavour that you taste or smell. Fried rice had a lot of toppings complementing the dish. The Cantonese chow mein didn’t have too much toppings, though. It was a nice dinner at this restaurant but service can be a little better.

Food are ok… Average… Service sucks, I asked for splitting into two bills nicely and the old lady started yelling at me and ruined my day. I’ll never be back again.
Been here before for the Dim Sum lunch service. The price was expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants but the portion was generous. The food was too salty, the service mediocre; albeit the place was spacious and quiet. They also hold wedding receptions here — I guess that’s pretty cool.
A couple hours stop over in TO got me out of the airport to have some dim sum. HUGE portions compared to what Calgarians are used to.. I was expecting the experience to be better given the population here. It wasn’t very cheap either. The washroom could use some updating and regular cleaning.
I ordered Black Bean Chicken. My Dad got some type of shrimp dish. Also two soups. Sality soups ( 5.95), Salty Chicken, Sality Shirmp. My dad had to pour the tea and wash the salt off of the chicken to make it edible. When he complained to the manager, the manager took the shrimp back but when it came back, there was less shrimp but more veggies. The veggies were good and the mushroom was good. But the only thing not salty was the rice.This restaurant has potential, but please if youre going to cheap out on the meat, dont serve sallty meat, it destroys the meal. Just serve less meat. I am sure the veggie dishes are good, just the meat sucks. I never ate salty shrimp before. So I felt sick afterwards. The bill was 62 dollars for two people. Not worth it for salty meal (with salty soup). I would recommend if you eat here that you bring plenty of water or fruit with you to offset the way too salty meat.
Good dim sum. Best in the area.
