If I could give a zero I would. I booked a reservation on Saturday for a group of 9 for my birthday dinner weeks in advance. 3 days before the reservation I got a call from the restaurant saying they were actually closed for the entire long weekend even though the holiday, family day, was on Monday. After confirming with multiple people so far in advance I now have to scramble and attempt to get another reservation a few days before the event. I won’t be returning to fiamma again.
I’m convinced, anyone who posts positive reviews here is either: a shill, or someone who just doesn’t get out much. Plain robbery eating here. I posted a review elsewhere and just wanted to let others know. oh my goodness. I’m quite the foodie and very rarely do reviews but I had to make an exception. This is the absolute worst restaurant I’ve been to. Menu items are grossly over-priced for what you’re getting. Portions are extremely small and the food is mediocre at best. I was with a party of 8. I’m by no means a food snob and the various people I was with were of different ages and backgrounds. For apps we ordered: polenta (ok taste, reasonable price), calamari (ok taste, reasonable price), 2 pizzas ($16 and $17) as apps. 6 slices on each pizza – very small and very thin…and I am well aware of Napoletan pizza. This was just a cost cutting attempt or they just don’t care. So little value. Defina, Via Mercanti and gems like that offer way more value for pizza.Main dish, a lot of us ordered pasta dishes. I ordered ‘linguine pescatore’ – basically a pasta dish with fish. The dish was $25. Portion was very small, and the taste was mediocre at best. Everyone else with us – same thing. Small portions and just okay taste. We all agreed that we wouldn’t order desserts because of how underwhelming the place was. We went else where and I even got myself something to eat along with dessert. It took forever to get our bill. I’m really really not some snobby entitled person, it’s just this place is a complete side show & joke and I felt I should let others know. I really don’t know how they’re still in business. Go elsewhere. Anywhere. It’s bad. And if someone is punishing you with an invite to this place and you have to go, don’t get the pizza. If you absolutely want pizza, be prepared to order 3 ($15-$17 a pop) = $45, as the pizzas are tiny with just an okay taste
