Surprisingly not tasty product for Italian bakery. Most likely due to use of artificial ingredients. Stuff is extremely slow, not attentive and rude! I am Italian, but I will never be back.
The quality of cakes and pastries desires to be better for this price. The products they use are not natural and that affect the taste. Greasy and excessively sweet just to mask artificial stuff they use. Stuff is not friendly, extremely slow and have no respect to customers. If you know of any other place around – I strongly to avoid this.
Cute Place!. We came here to inquire about ordering a wedding cake. We were given a wedding book upon arrival with pictures of cakes that Irene had made. As we were looking at the book, Irene happened to come out and we waved her over. She came over and patiently answered all of our questions about the cake that we were curious about. We then decided to have a dessert while we were there. We settled on the egg tart and cannoli. They were both AMAZING! They had the best taste and they were fresh. We were very impressed with how beautiful the bakery was and how nice Irene was! If you are looking for authentic European pastries and cakes, you definitely won’t be disappointed, Irene’s is the way to go!
I bought a cake for my son’s birthday. It was absolutely delicious. Not your typical grocery store cake. It was light and melt in your mouth. The vanilla and chocolate creams used to layer the cake added a different taste that I never had before with your average grocery store cakes. I would definitely recommend buying cakes here!!
Beautiful Sweet 16 Birthday Cake. I just ordered a Sweet 16 birthday cake for my daughter and it was absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. I called and spoke with Irene and described how I wanted the cake decorated and it surpassed my expectations! The chocolate sponge cake and bacio and chantilly filling was so light and fresh. I will definately be going back for future cakes! Thanks again Irene Helen
Irene’s Celebrity Cakes Fantastic!. One word to describe Irene’s Celebrity Cake… WOW!! I was very fortunate to learn about Irene’s Celebrity Cake’s through my sister-in-law. The moment I walked into Irene’s Bakery and I met Irene – I knew right away that this was a woman I can trust with the most important cake of my life: my wedding cake. I showed Irene a picture of what I wanted – and not only did she replicate it – but she perfected it to an art. Irene has incredible talent – she is gifted and meticulous in her work. The diameter for each layer was exquisite as was the design. I will never forget the moment I walked into the banquet hall and saw my wedding cake for the first time. I was stunned and speechless. It was so incredibly beautiful – so much so that I did not want to cut it!! My guests were amazed with the cake’s classic beauty and its incredible taste. The cake was lemon flavored with a lemon cream filling with fresh raspberries intertwined. It was fresh, light, delicious and incredibly moist. It was so good that my guests pestered my poor wedding planner all night to find out who created my wedding cake! Thank you soooo much Irene! For those who wish to see my wedding cake that Irene created : you can e-mail me at [email protected] for a picture. Finally, not only did Irene create and incredible cake for me.. but she did what alot bakeries refused to do – delivery outside her service area. I got married in Niagara -on-the-lake and I was refused delivery by other bakeries – but Irene delivered for me and relieved me of a lot of stress. Thank you Irene for all you`ve done for me.. from the last minute cookie orders and day before cake orders and the hot latte`s and the warm smile and hug you greet we with every time I step into your bakery. Thank you Thank you for making this bride so happy. Your are the diamond of Mississauga! I will never forget you !! A+ highly recommend!
