Came here the other night and really enjoyed my meal! The spot itself does kind of look like half a store half a restaurant but the food is in buffet style ready made kind of trays and the guy serves you behind the glass as you choose what you like. He said the specials change daily like sometimes he has falafel. I like the variety. Keeping it as Greek as possible. Interesting that he had hot tzatziki never heard of that before but quite impressive! So I went with the veggie platter. This includes rice, lemon potatoes and salad (2 types of salad to choose from). I went for a mix of the village salad and the Greek salad and they were both amazing. I’m not a fan of big potatoes so didn’t have much of those but the regular tzatziki and rice were phenomenal. He also had a very dense container full of grilled veggies that looked so amazing but kind of lonely like no one ever picks them so I asked him to add some for me in my dish and he did free of charge. I wanted to just tell him to give me a generous portion as there was so much and looks unpopular (wouldn’t want him to waste it :p) but they were so good! Yum. My meal was huge too had enough to bring to work the next day and it was still good. Only thing not so great in salad were cucumbers and the feta in village salad was kind of watery. The spot is definitely a hidden gem. It was empty but clean. The guy was super friendly and welcoming. Very nice spot with lots to look at decor wise. Will definitely return again 🙂
