Came here today service was alright. Hated my pad thai. It was way too spicy and just not delicious. The noodles weren’t bad and the tofu was alright but the dish as a whole was disappointing. My friend got the pho which apparently was good. The setting was clean.
My family comes here often when we feel like a light meal! Our favourite orders are the 200 series of beef pho. We love the tangy and refreshing flavour of the noodles with the broth mixed with lime. This time around, I ordered a medium bowl of pho with beef tendon and tripe. It had about 4 to 5 pieces of tendon and was quite yummy! Will come again, and am looking to finally expanding my orders beyond the 200 series.
Food 3/5. Service 1/5. They sat us 30 minutes before closing and rushed us to order. When it came near closing time the server was very blunt and effectively told us we need to leave (this was 5 minutes after the closing time). Why seat us in the first place? There’s many things this place needs to learn about running a restaurant. Would consider returning for a mediocre pho, but the service guaranteed that won’t be happening.
Yummy!. We love this place! We decided to stop in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t too busy, but busy enough to fill up about half of the restaurant. We were greeted right away and given a seat near the front of the restaurant. We were then given menus and chose our items. I chose the chicken pad thai and my boyfriend chose the beef soup. The beef soup was massive! It was the size of a large salad bowl that is used to serve a family of four. I was impressed at how large it was. It was filled with noodles, beef, and lots of other vegetables. The chicken pad thai was also delicious; tons of chicken and vegetables; it was also just the right amount of spice, not too hot or not too weak. The size of it was also massive; I was hungry so I ate it all, but on any other day, I would have definitely needed a take-out box. The meals were brought to us within ten minutes, great service! The servers were also very kind and accomodating. For two of us, it was only $17, what a great deal! Definitely coming back to this place!
Tried the Pho with rare beef and deep fried spring rolls and was amazed by the flavour. Everything was so fresh and the broth was very delicious. I drive down from Vaughan now just to go have more! It’s delicious and I will definitely be going back for more 🙂 Not to mention service was fast and friendly.
Fast service, authentic Vietnamese, good prices. Good place for authentic and flavourful Vietnamese food on great prices. You also get plenty for your money, because the portions are huge. The restaurant itself is clean, casual but nicely decorated, and cosy. I had fresh shrimp spring rolls and grilled chicken on vermicelli with a deep-fried pork spring roll. The shrimp spring rolls was ok, but that’s just me; the deep fried one was incredible. The vermicelli dish was not what I expected; although the chicken was grilled to perfection the vermicelli was plain. There was no sauce or anything. I’m not a Vietnamese cuisine expert so maybe that’s the way it was supposed to be. I’d return but I’d order something else.
