A lovely find in beautiful downtown Almonte. We had lamb burgers, probably the best burgers we have ever had – generous, thick and juicy meat with slivers of pork belly and stacked with melted cheese and slices of avocado. Served with a choice of soup or salad. We’ll be back!
We really enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant. We ordered the lamb burger. It came with a cup of soup which was a mushroom soup flavoured with smoked ham hock and sage. The lamb burger was excellent and a generous size. The servers were really kind and went out of their way to find us a seat as we accidentally forgot to make reservation. The small high table was quite uncomfortable for a short person like I. The other problem was that the restaurant was very very noisy and we were barely able to hear ourselves talk. I guess we were unlucky as a large group was celebrating a birthday. Next time we will ask if there is a celebration of some sort …before we come.
