1000 Sushi Islands is a pretty typical AYCE place. The decor is pretty forgettable, the staff are alright, but nothing special. The food can be hit or miss to the point that I’ve ordered the same thing on different occasions and found the quality to vary. That being said, recent trips have been much better and more consistent to the point that I’d recommend it as a good AYCE place. The one thing they have that makes them stand out though, is black sesame ice cream. I haven’t seen it at any other AYCE places, but it’s really good.
