Decent all you can eat sushi place for one in Ottawa, but does not conmpare to some in Toronto or Montreal. Rolls are a bit bland, wok dishes are a bit skeptical and not that fresh. Tofu and shrimp dishes are amazing, but for the price is not worth it, unless you go for lunch, but I would suggest trying other all you can eat sushi places. They keep raising there prices which sucks….
Despite being one of the better AYCE sushi places in Ottawa, it’s still not great. Depending on when you go, wait times to get in can be long. The service is fast, but often unfriendly and inconsistent (sometimes they’ll be attentive with water, sometimes not, etc) and it’s not uncommon for orders to go missing or for you to get other people’s orders. The food also suffers from being inconsistent. Most of the non-sushi items are consistently good, but the actual sushi varies from alright to good, but nothing great and like most AYCE sushi places, most of the fish is mislabeled so they can sell you something cheap under the guise of something good. Overall, I’d say it’s worth it for the cheap lunch price, but otherwise, you could do better.
Went for dinner, waited 5 min to be seated and then went crazy with the Ipad ordering! The amount of choice is impressive. There is vegetarian options, meats, fried items, soups and of course so many kinds of sushi! Service was quick and water was refilled often. Food was delicious and fresh. Items arrived fast and exactly how we ordered it. Great place!
Great place if you are in the mood for Japanese food. Service was great..the only weird part is that they do not accept debit cards.. only cash or credit.
I just picked up an order of 3 avocado sushi rolls that I attempted to order online. I do not eat fish, which is why I order vegetarian rolls. But every single one of the 18 pieces had no less than 10 fish eggs attached to it, both on the rice and inside the avocado. It was impossible to pick out. I had to throw the whole order in the garbage, it was not edible. I have eaten there before and everytime there have been some fish eggs but I have tried to be tolerant and pick them out because my husband likes eating there. But this is unacceptable. On top of that, I ordered online and when I got there my order was not ready because I had not answered my cell phone to confirm my order because I was driving to pick up the food. So I had to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared it. Making my trip over 45 minutes to get a lunch that I can’t even eat. Why do you have online ordering, if you have to call to confirm every single order before you process it? This makes no sense. I will never eat there again, there is clearly no care put into their food or consideration made about the people who will be eating it. I truly find this unacceptable.
Terrible service. Waited over one hour for our first order to arrive. Several incorrect dishes delivered to our table. Poor service in refreshing drinks. Food quantities have also reduced by a third – one order now includes 4 pieces not 6. It took two hours from our meal and the restaurant was only a third full when we arrived. Line up out the door when we left. Unlikely we will come back.
This place is always packed. Sushi ordering through iPad and every time, they get my order right. Service is efficient and friendly, but that’s it. There are the expected rolls on the menu, as well as a few extra original ones too. The restaurant is large and clean and if you get their early, you can score a larger table. The sushi itself was fresh and the rice was more or less perfect.
