First time!. I work in the Merivale Industrial Sector where good eats don’t really exist. Fighting to get down Merivale Rd. over the lunch hour is frustrating. I was a little skeptical about trying this place as first as I’m a huge fan of DiRienzo’s. Until today no sandwich shop could be compared to them. I ordered a Luca’s Original on a bun and stuck with my regular toppings of lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo. Man was it ever good! I will definiteyl be back for lunch.
This is my fave lunch destination… Great value, exceptional choice,super friendly staff and regular innovations to the menu…But this place is hopping at noon so be prepared for a fast-moving line-up or come at 11:30 or after 1pm
Sandwichs. Third time going to grab lunch there. yet to be dissapointed! hard to get them on the phone to order ahead, but if you fax in your order, its ready when you get there.
Look out Dirienzos!. Although this place is located in a hole in the wall that doesn’t seem to stop the hoards of savvy sandwich munchers from finding it. This place is ALWAYS lined up to the door at lunch! That does not mean you wait though. The crew behind the counter work like clockwork cranking out the best sandwiches around. My favorite is the Tara’s Trio and I have to admit, I hit this place at least once a week for a quick bite. We have tried quite a few items on the menu and no negative reviews from inside this office. I will sometimes add a greek salad as well and it is made fresh and is above average for fast food restaurant salad.
