My favourite chip truck in Ottawa! Amazing poutine! Squeaky cheese curds and they don’t skimp! great hot Italian sausage and the burgers are pretty good too. Staff are very friendly.

My favourite chip truck! Their fries are crispy and not greasy (although I did get a mediocre batch ones, but that’s probably cause I went there at a weird time). If you ask nicely, they’ll even season the middle of the fries for you (so it’s not just seasoned at the top).

Our go to spot. Throughout the years of working near by, we have come to know the owners and workers like family. The friendliest people. Great service. Amazing food. Our favourite place to go and indulge. Hands down, the best poutine we have ever had! Keep trying new places and have not been able to find better. The portions are large and filled up to the rim. The generous amount of cheese curds are squeaky and fresh. And the gravy is thick, tasty and does not make the fries soggy. You should definitely try them out!! We get a little sad in our household when they close up for the winter. Keep up the great work guys. It’s always a great experience. 🙂

Not very appetizing – Not gluten free. I know a lot of chip trucks aren’t gluten free, so I was quite excited when I noticed ‘Gluten Free’ boldly proclaimed on their sign. Upon further inquiry, no, their gravy is wheat based. So no Poutine, all right then, how about a medium chips to go? The price is okay but then a 20 minute wait while folks order their (I’m not kidding) ‘Bypass Burgers’, get them and leave. I’m still waiting for my chips. Finally get the chips and they are not even remotely appetizing. Very little flavour, quite hard and dry.

Incompetent or rude or both from staff!!. I placed my order to a young lady who was obviously distracted but succeeded and paid. No biggie.I waited until it seemed all who had ordered previously had walked away with what looked like great food.and walked over to the serving hatch to await number 18 being called. The cook was busily cooking while having a conversation with another man and the server played with her phone in between serving two more customers. i waited patiently but could see that there was no hotdog on the grill, so I asked the severwhether my order was being cooked. The cook himself looked up at the paper sheets attached above himand said that he didn’t have an order for a hotdog, i replied in a slightly annoyed voice that I hoped he had as I’d just paid seven dollars for it.He then said that he didn’t like my attitude and implied that i somehowwas being demanding. The server found my little order sheet on the counter far away from the cooktopwhere it obviously should have been. Did I get an apology even grudgingly. Nope, i had to ask for my moneyback and left feeling astounded that I was treated that way because I hadn’t waited for another 15 minutesbefore speaking up.If I had been a man instead of an older woman would I have been spoken to that waywhen the situation had been caused by the server not doing her job.?Was I rude for saying what i did? Chip shops are a dime a dozen in Ottawa , this one needs an attitude change.

Really surprising for being a chip truck. Good items that aren’t the standard limited chip truck menu. Variations of poutine and sandwiches along with sides like mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. A nice change of pace for those who are tired of the ordinary.

Love the texture. Better than I remember, we shall be returning to try some of the new menu options. Got my eye on the Sloppy Chicken burger.
