I was able to visit Ghana House recently and I have to say the food was really worth the trip. I had the fried fish with jollof rice, which also featured a small salad and friend plantain. My two favourite parts of the meal were the jollof rice (cooked in tomato and other seasoning, so very flavourful) and the fried plantain (soft, warm, and delicious). The salad was your basic affair and the fish was good, but wasn’t as filled with flavour as the rice or plantain. This restaurant seems to primarily focus on takeout/delivery, so there isn’t very much seating and the decor is of little interest, but the staff were quite pleasant. I want to go back and try the Fufuwith one of their stews/soups, as they have a nice variety of Ghanaian food (I confess I most definitely eyed others’ food, and the meals looked and smelled wonderful).Food: 8/10Loner Rating: 2/10 (It’s a small place, so if you sit at a table and several people come in later… It can be awkward.)Atmosphere: 5/10Location: 4/10

Went there twice. Was not took impressed with the jollof rice. Being West African, I have eaten better. But the banku and grilled tilapia was extra yummy. Service was fast but then we called ahead.

Fast and Friendly. Came here with my sister for the first time. We both had the fried fish with rice and plantains. It was delicious! The employees were super friendly and helpful right from the start. One even came out of the kitchen to ask us how we liked the food. I loved it! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
